Strike my pen, dead words unsaid Pale ghost march, drink your poison Take us all down, cited uncrowned, throne overthrown, decoronate Steeped in your hate, bathed in blind light, decoronate Scathed belief, embodied psychosis. Thrown into the blaze, throw it all away. Can you see the rising tide? Can you taste the filament? Can you smell your mercurial falling from on high? (The afternoon shadows grew long outside the courthouse. Men in matching suits, under the guise of the nondescript, led him to an armored vehicle, his handcuffs already chafing. When they were gone, the courtyard fell quiet, heavy with inevitability.) Save your selflessness, before it consumes you Give my pariah bait, your worst Christ impression Uplift us all, bury your crown, serve the new Earth, decoronate Bare skin, death cold, bleeds on the inside Decoronate - thrown into the blaze, throw it all away Inside your stillborn heart - something distant and animus, holding fast to light, beyond our killing fields, beneath our graves. One more war to go before we go. (Two rags clung together, cold and damp. Distinction lost in desperation. Each weighted as it soaked responsibility from the other. Like magnets whose charges consumed themselves. He wrung the fish heads from his pruning fingers and tried to forget the sense of smell. The buzzer rang, and, with a sigh, he lifted the orange suit to its duty. He flung the rags at the stinking heap in the corner and waited for the door.)

MachiNation 06:54
Machination state, crumbling over a godless plate Extraction fate, tragedy to a common fate for all Retribution state, punitive lowered states Communing at our core born broken aches The time has come to believe in more than fear and hate Raining seeds of our own extinction fate (Days turned to weeks, then months. Food lost its taste. Divorce papers arrived before any visitors. At first, the others avoided him, as if a drop of his blood might create a stain more damning than this place ever could. They didn't know what to do with his sort of crime. Nobody did. Until that day the article went to press: a new chairman of the board, a fresh start; partnerships with the morally passible, unending silent screams.) We will not inhabit, will no co-habit, do not consider, will not We will never stake our claim on this vast collapse by name, denial is the only way. Let's grind the gears into submission Machinate, bar the gate, load the deck, cut dead weight, hide the price, build the dam, fuel the hate, machinate Seeping striation, codifying innovation, solstice armament, machination state (Anyone else would have lived in the hole, but the guards were too connected to the outside world. So, the others did it for them. After a year, he wondered if the ceiling pipe in his cell could hold 170. Seeping striation, codifying innovation, solstice armament, machination state Once can we paddle in the same wake up river to the head. Never mind our siphoned mercury, upstream sycophantic rage. Winding down into our souls, down into our souls. Snaking up into the hoard, up into the hoard. We need to feel the outside coming, one breath we all start running. Cold wind, dead soul, one window takes a toll. We are one world, we hold one fate. We take one breath, we dig one grave.

Chrysalic 07:33
Is this snow or pixelated armageddon? Are we alive, or are we cosmology? Holographic, illusory dust. Is this snow or consequence? Seraphim taking flight, another godless blight. Burn down, purge the purging. Flight cannot fly. Angels tear at our flesh, searing moral unrest. Ashes, to stone-cold ground dust. Pixelated armageddon Is this rain or? Is this rain or angels blood leaked from silicon clouds? Vengeance codes programmed visible shrouds? Are we alive, or are we a data set? Scraped lust, dried guilt. Cleaved hearts, devout doubt. Burned source, profligate pact. Dissonant eco-social chords. Seraphim taking flight, another godless blight. Angels tear at our flesh, searing moral unrest. Strike the match. I'm hammered down, sunken in, tastin' blood, dead to rights. Hollowed to the bone and mortified. Angels blood leaked from silicon clouds. Vengeance codes programmed cauterized shrouds. I'm hammered down to the bone, mortified. On one bent knee, we are hammered home. (He’d died a thousand times in a thousand nights before he actually did it. Smudges of pink and blue on his clammy palm from the commandeered pills. Waking turned out to be more lethal. Limbs chained, faces feigning judgment. Or maybe disappointment. Parole was a sick charade. Eight years in, he tuned out the gatekeepers with echoes of his teenage vinyl collection. Hendrix, Zeppelin, The Stones…Loud enough to drown out his father’s unresolvable dominant tones.) Blood-soaked clouds, blood leaked from, blood soaked in, blood strained code. Strike the match, burn it down. Ashen debris, drained and discoloring. Shredding chrysalis, bridging Earth and sky. Ashen debris, buried discovery. Shredding chrysalis, merging them and us, bridging Earth and sky, melding you and me.

Liminal 04:34
Where does this end? Ancient pain, forever new. Two sides, one name, liminal state of shame. Two sides, one fate. Even the firmest mind can break. Even a broken heart can love. Even a loving soul can hate. Break it down to the core. Will you be the great, or will you draw endless, insatiate blood. Both sides, one gate, hit the ground. Both sides, one fate, power down. Liminal. Crush all beauty to bits and bites, digital state. Broken oaths of light, in what we built, that we all know we've sworn. Cobalt minds, lithium shackles, algorithmic trance, phantom freedom, saluted sin, progress at the brice of blood. Young blood. Will you be the great, or will you draw endless, insatiate blood. Both sides, one gate, hit the ground. Both sides, one fate, power down. Asocial disaster, human decay. Will or past be what's passed? Now is the time. Tell me why we can't do better than this? Blood lust, vengeance, payback. Freedom for our souls. Liminal. Bleak, self-hatred. Blind self-guidance. Fate-inflicted architecture. Our moral future, so close yet so grim. (The day his body died, everything went calm. Regret dissolved to sadness, anger to grief. He stepped into the chamber and studied the walls as if they served some foreign, misguided purpose, for which he now pitied. The straps were for everybody outside the room, a box to check. He was already limp, naked, and receptive. Beware your time. Two sides, one climb. Liminal prisons abide. Assume no fate, fictional free state. Common crime, realize this is the time. Choose your side, arise and fight—liminal state—sides die cast, lie beyond.

Reckoning 09:43
Sing the words, start today. Scream, it takes the truth. Start today. Here lies something new, excavate, born with a clue. Spiral vitalized, morbid apologies. Sanctum reckoning, vastly unfomented. Here lies something new, amid mass decay. Seeds hope, wrapped in white light. Spiralogy reckoning, life is still alive Breathe or die. Believe a wisp, please take your own word to heart your chosen song will sing in key now or never. Sing truth. Reckoning for love, reckoning take your heart to word. Here lies something new across time and space, seeking bridges for iteration. Seething, hedonistic self-love. Breathing, monotheistic truth-bait. Give me something beyond perilous (Time wanders on, and so do we) Time wanders on (refracted sight), holographic (unmeddled taste), beyond fathom (dizzying touch), within grasping (infinite echoes), beyond an ending (dimensions obscured), never unteaching (and omni-positive), sinking not sinking (sinking not sunk), celebratory. (I am the icy current, churning under a frozen surface) Stake the course. (I am the scalding magma, burying all that came before) Swim upstream (I tingle with stardust on forgotten wings I soar above and burrow beneath. I am within, throughout, wholly innate. Extant.) Turn the tide, this fight. On top is a sea in which we drown our dreams, paddle with either oars, and swim for our lives. Breathing hell away, seething temporal. Endless vision with well-lit paths, reckoning. It's time to jump, let go. Leave what you know to float. Fallen stars right true decay, something new. Breathing, I'll take your hand. Ending, let's make our stand. Receiving, I can't even see the way it will be, with everything beyond. Everything. (All the beauty)

about

Layered, storytelling post-metal hardcore for fans of Cave In, Coalesce, Botch, Meshuggah, The Ocean, Opeth, and the like. We will pass along 50% of your donation proceeds to Farmer's Footprint, an organization dedicated to helping chemical, mono-crop farms transition to regenerative systems.

Spiralogy is the cumulative work of two separate time periods, as noted in the track listing. Tracks 1-4 were written and recorded in 2003-2004 as a full band, while tracks 5-9 came along between 2020-2023 to complete the initial vision of the project.

In 2002, as the band Shogun ended, the original four members of Omega Point, inspired by Stravinsky's Rite of Spring and other such (for their time) avant garde musical works, sought to explore an album rich with continuity, evolving themes and song-structures, and textured instrumentation.

about

Omega Point

Omega Point was formed by members of Denver-based early-2000's metal and hardcore bands, Shogun and One Dying Wish. OP originally set out to write a 9-song album with inter-related themes and the flow of an orchestral score. It was bold and faltered after the completion of track four in 2003...Tracks 5-9 were completed from 2020-2023, fusing residual ideas from the early days and new inspiration. ... more
